Apple Ads Credit Eligibility Criteria and Limitations
Effective Date: August 14, 2026
Apple Ads may offer you promotional credits as part of your use of Apple Ads advertising services. Each promotional credit offer is governed by the Apple Advertising Services Terms of Service, the Apple Advertising Services Promotional Credits Terms and Conditions, and the offer-specific eligibility limitations included on this page.
Ads on Maps sign-up credit
You can try out ads on Maps and see the results for yourself with a sign-up credit. When you first set up your organization to run ads on Maps, each eligible brand will receive a promotional credit to try Apple Ads.
What’s the offer?
Each eligible brand will receive a one-time $150 USD promotional credit that can be applied toward advertising spend on Apple Maps. If your account is set to any currency other than the United States Dollar (USD), the promotional credit is as follows:
| Currency | Sign-up credit value (local currency) |
| United States Dollar | 150 |
| Canadian Dollar | 200 |
| Australian Dollar | 200 |
| British Pound Sterling | 110 |
| Euro | 120 |
| Japanese Yen | 23000 |
| Mexican Peso | 2600 |
| New Zealand Dollar | 250 |
| Indian Rupee | 14000 |
Who’s eligible?
Each new brand advertising on Maps that meets these requirements is eligible for this offer. To receive the promotional credit, you must 1) sign up your organization for Apple Business, 2) add a valid credit card as your ads payment method, and 3) start running an ads on Maps campaign.
Agencies are not eligible for this offer. Advertisers paying for ads on Maps with a line of credit are not eligible for this offer. If an advertiser’s payment method changes to a line of credit at any time during this offer, the advertiser will no longer be eligible and any unused promotional credit will be forfeited.
How does the credit work?
Once you’ve completed the eligibility requirements above, the promotional credit will be automatically added to your brand’s account. The credit will be applied toward the first month’s advertising spend. Any unused credit will roll over and remain available for future ads on Maps spend. If your campaign costs exceed your available credit, the remaining balance will be charged to your credit card.
Important reminders
- This is a one-time sign-up credit offer, available once per brand, for new ads on Maps advertisers only.
- Credit can't be cashed out. Credit applies only to ads on Maps spend and has no cash value. Promotional credit cannot be used to pay for taxes or other fees.
- Apple reserves the right to confirm that all qualifying conditions have been met before issuing your credit. Apple may modify or end this offer at any time.
Ads on Maps Grand Opening Promo
To celebrate the launch of ads on Maps, we're giving advertisers promotional credits based on their spend.
What’s the offer?
Each eligible brand can earn 15% of its monthly advertising spend back as promotional credits, up to $1,000 USD per month (or approximate equivalent value in your chosen local currency as set forth below). Credits can be earned for one year beginning on the date the brand first launches an ads on Maps campaign, which means that a brand can earn up to a total of $12,000 USD in promotional credits with this offer.
If your account is set to any currency other than the United States Dollar (USD), the promotional credit is as follows:
| Currency | Grand Opening Promo Monthly maximum credit (local currency) | Grand Opening Promo Total maximum credit (local currency) |
| United States Dollar | 1000 | 12000 |
| Canadian Dollar | 1350 | 16200 |
| Australian Dollar | 1400 | 16800 |
| British Pound Sterling | 750 | 9000 |
| Euro | 850 | 10200 |
| Japanese Yen | 160000 | 1920000 |
| Mexican Peso | 17500 | 210000 |
| New Zealand Dollar | 1700 | 20400 |
| Indian Rupee | 95000 | 1140000 |
Who’s eligible?
Each new brand advertising on Maps that starts running a campaign on or before October 11, 2026 and meets these requirements is eligible for this offer. To receive the promotional credits, you must 1) sign up your organization for Apple Business, 2) add a valid credit card as your ads payment method, and 3) start running an ads on Maps campaign on or before October 11, 2026.
Agencies are eligible for this offer, and the earned promotional credit will apply solely to the advertised brand.
Agencies and advertisers paying for ads on Maps with a line of credit are not eligible for this offer. If an agency or advertiser’s payment method changes to a line of credit at any time during this offer, the agency or advertiser will no longer be eligible and any unused promotional credits will be forfeited.
How do the credits work?
At the end of each calendar month, the promotional credits will be calculated based on eligible advertising spend for that month and will be automatically added to your brand’s account. The promotional credits will be applied toward the following month’s advertising spend. Note that you may see this represented in your billing summaries and invoices as “program credits.” Any unused credit will roll over and remain available for future ads on Maps spend until December 31, 2027, at which point any remaining balance will expire. If your campaign costs exceed your available credits, the remaining balance will be charged to your credit card.
Important reminders
- To be eligible, a brand must start running an ads on Maps campaign on or before October 11, 2026.
- Unused promotional credits will expire on December 31, 2027.
- Credits can't be cashed out. Credits apply only to ads on Maps spend and have no cash value.
- Payment of any taxes or other fees will not count toward earning any promotional credits and promotional credits cannot be used to pay for taxes or other fees.
- Apple reserves the right to confirm that all qualifying conditions have been met before issuing your credits. Apple may modify or end this offer at any time.
