Pre-roll video ad specs

The following pre-roll video ad specifications are for Workbench and Google Ad Manager.

Publisher audience segments

  • VAST tags can be utilized for interstitial or pre-roll video ads. See VAST tag technical specs for additional requirement details.
  • Pre-roll video displays in both portrait and landscape device orientations. One set of assets is needed for all devices.
  • Vertical video displays in full screen only when a user selects the full screen button.
  • Pre-roll video ads will have the ad identifier located on the lower left corner. See Ad identifier for more info.
